About Me

Hey! I’m Shannon Malone, an aspiring interior designer & digital artist from Cleveland.

I am a graduate of the University of Cincinnati’s School of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning.  I majored in interior design and minored in entrepreneurship. As a first generation college student, being in DAAP allowed me to recognize the extent of the drive, passion and motivation I have for interior design.  My love for graphic design and branding coupled with my passion for interior design allowed me to especially find joy in visualizing concepts for clients and within my projects.  I especially enjoy interactive and experiential design, and discovering ways to help users craft with their own triumph and story within a space.

During my time at UC, I was a Darwin T. Turner Scholar and a Cincinnatus Scholar. I was a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society, Black Arts Collaborative’s Poetry Department, Black Arts Collaborative’s Visual Arts Department, and Black Arts Collaborative’s Dance Department.  I was also an early acceptance corp member for Teach for America, and was able to spend the 2020-2021 school year teaching and mentoring middle school youth.

When I am not stuffing my face with sushi and drinking sweet tea, I am either writing poetry, playing the Sims, fooling around in Illustrator, working on my business The Everyday Boss, or binge-watching my favorite shows on Hulu and Netflix.
